Hematology and Surgical Pathology

Dr. Ebaee is a board-certified, experienced hematopathologist and board-certified AP/CP Pathologist with a passion for research and leadership. She has expertise in diagnosing and interpreting hematologic and gastrointestinal diseases, honed through her roles as Supervisor & Co-Director at Sterling Pathology National Lab. Dr. Ebaee served as Chief Resident at Harbor UCLA. She graduated from Harbor UCLA, AP/CP pathology residency and consequently completed her hematopathology fellowship at UCLA in 2019. She is board-certified in AP/CP and hematopathology.

She conducted many research projects in various institutions including the University of Washington, UCSF, and Harbor UCLA in the area of GI pathology, dermatopathology, and hematopathology. She has several publications summarizing the results of her research, Melanoma In Situ, NRAS Melanoma, Persistent Pigmented purpuric Dermatitis (PPD), such as Melanoma ICH scoring P16, Cycline D1, FISH data analyzing at UCSF Dermatology Lab. In addition, she was involved in the research of Mitochondrial dysfunction in Ulcerative colitis at the University of Washinton, Department of Pathology.

She received her M.D. from Tehran Azad University and completed a 4-year AP/CP pathology residency at Iran University of Medical Science in Tehran and practiced as a pathologist for a few years before coming to the US. She also worked at the Neogenomics Lab as a hematopathologist.
