PAUL F. KIRSHMAN
Uropathology
Dr. Paul Kirshman is a nationally recognized Uropathologist who provides clinical and anatomical Uropathology Consultation with a focus on prostate and bladder pathology.
Dr. Kirshman has over two decades of experience and interest in prostate cancer and bladder cancer. He received his MD from the University of Montpellier, France and received his residency training at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. He then received fellowship training in Molecular Pathology under Dr. Mark Sobel at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Kirshman established his national reputation at UroCor, Oklahoma, providing expert pathology services specific for prostate and urine cytology. Dr. Kirshman later joined US Labs in Irvine, California, where he became Co-Founder of US Lab’s first UroPathology Department. He has been known to be a nationally renowned expert in this field, including the application of fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) on tissue section and urine cytology specimens for detection of bladder cancer cells.
Currently Dr. Kirshman continues his UroPathology consultation practice at Sterling Pathology. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality and standards of sub-specialty UroPathology and exceptional expertise.
